In 2026 we are hosting a series of public seminars about Zionism.  You can view past seminars here.

Our next seminar, presented by Kim Bullimore, will focus on Socialist Zionism.

What is “Socialist Zionism” aka “Labour Zionism”? What role did it play in colonising Palestine during the British Mandate? We’ll look at the key ideas behind it, including the “conquest of labour and land”, and what they meant in practice.

Kim Bullimore is an Aboriginal academic, researcher and activist. Her work focuses on settler colonial histories with a focus on Australia and Palestine, resistance politics, transnational activism and social movements for change and liberation.

WHEN:  Sunday 7 June 5.30–7.00 pm
